COASTAL ART

"Shrimpboat Sound"
This is a Triptych (3 canvases) 12x36 (36” Square). This is by far my most favorite painting I have created to date! 🍤 It’s Shrimply Irresistible! 🦐 ~ Affectionately named after Jimmy Buffett’s #keywest Recording Studio #shrimpboatsound. $750

“Smoke on the Water”
30w x 24h
The Florida Highwaymen style was the inspiration of this Original HighwayDAN. I added my own edge with the blending of paint colors and high-gloss varnish, which created a crazy~cool~hazy~smokey~vibe. I affectionately named this painting after the classic tune - Deep Purple’s - Smoke on the Water. $500
Available in Tampa, Florida. Contact me for details.

“Southern Cross”
24w x 36h
Southern Cross is a constellation of the brightest four stars in the Southern Hemisphere that provided directional guidance to early sailors.
The dark ambience of the night sky features the glittery moon that highlights the ship’s sails and rough waters of the ocean. It was affectionately named Southern Cross after the 1982 Crosby, Stills & Nash song.
Available at The Merchant - Central Ave - St. Pete, FL

“Invasion”
36w x 24h
I was born and raised in Tampa and I remember my mother taking me and my four siblings to the Gasparilla parade to watch the pirate invasion from Bayshore Boulevard. It's been a Tampa tradition since 1904 and anyone living around the Tampa Bay Area knows about this Parade of Pirates you can watch from many vantage points in Tampa Bay. Bayshore Boulevard sits along the waters of Tampa Bay and is the longest continuous sidewalk in the United States showcasing the beautiful architecture of the balustrades. $500
Available in Tampa, Florida. Contact me for details.

“ARRRmada”
48w x 24h
Since 1904, Tampa has been home to “Gasparilla.” The Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla sails across Tampa Bay, commencing the ‘Parade of Pirates’ that kicks off a friendly invasion full of festivities on the last Saturday in January. This water parade’s focal point is the pirate ship equipped with colorful flags and loud cannons, followed by thousands of revelers on private boats. $750
This painting is my interpretation of the Gasparilla pirate ship being the ever-so-colorful focal point representing the invasion (aka the party) about to begin!

“Koki'o 'ula 'ula”
12w x 36h
The matte black background makes this high-gloss hibiscus flower POP. I also added texture to give it interesting dimension and flare. $250

“Shell Yeah!”
30w x 48h
This black background is layered with faded red peek-a-boos that turned out super awesome. It helps the gold outlines on the shells go - boom! 💥 It will make you want to say, “Shell Yeah” when you experience it in person! $500

“Magic Hat”
24w x 12h
My wife and I went to Oahu, Hawaii, for a milestone birthday, and our favorite day was when we rented a car and drove around the entire island. Along our drive, we saw Mokoli’i (aka Chinaman’s Hat). The view was so gorgeous it was permanently etched in my mind, and this painting is the result. $300

“SpongeBob SurfBoards”
12w x 24h
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob Surfboards brings new perspective to this classic cartoon duo. $250
